MAKING OF EGYPT AND AKROPOLIS ON MATCH TV IN DECMEBER AND JANUARY
by revo on 18/12/2002.

French subscription channel Match TV will have a few Christmas presents for fans who can receive the channel this Christmas, with two Jean Michel Jarre broadcasts.

Of most interest, is the premiere of the Making of Egypt (The Twelve Dreams of the Sun) which will broadcast several times during the end of 2002 and the start of 2003:

Monday 30th December 2002 at 22:40 (CET)
Friday 3rd January 2003 at 14:35 (CET)
Saturday 4th January 2003 at 15:40 (CET)
Saturday 4th January 2003 at 22:15 (CET)
Sunday 5th January 2003 at 19:50 (CET)

The one hour documentary takes a look behind the scenes of Jarre's most ambitious concert project to date at the Great Pyramids in Giza, Egypt. The film directed by Vincent Faure-Chappat promises to be an interesting insight how the concert was performed on the night despite a number of logistical and political problems.

In addition, the Akropolis show from 2001 will also be shown on the same channel (after it has been shown a number of times on French terrestial station M6):

Monday 30th December 2002 at 20:45 (CET)
Saturday 4th January 2003 at 23:15 (CET)

Match TV was originally due to broadcast Aero, however this has now changed and Akropolis will be shown instead.

For those fans who are lucky enough to receive the channel, simply enjoy.
